Namaste!
Welcome to my blog, "The sunshine truth". I've spent a lot of time thinking about writing a blog, but have procrastinated for years. I can be quite the perfectionist when it comes to my writing and sometimes have a difficult time exposing myself. But, I am a writer and the experiences in my life will not only teach me but can possibly teach someone else as well.
In 2006, I gave myself a new name, "sunshine truth". Since I was a young child, several different people in my life have referred to me as, 'sunshine'. I've always had the happy, sunny, half-full perspective on life and I've been proud to maintain my outlook on life. But in nature, sunshine cannot be the only weather condition. There is overcast, rain, storm, blizzard, rainbows and on and on. My evolution, my life story, reflected the natural flow of existence. Everyday, I am finding myself more authentic, the truth about who I really am. I believe that's what most of us are searching for. As we grow in years and experience, as we become more comfortable in our skins, as realizing what we want out of life becomes more clear. We see our "truth" and we are compelled to share it with the world. That was the evolution of "sunshine truth" and I haven't turned back since.
As I open the door to my world, I will share my journey with you. You may see yourself; you may not. Maybe you can exercise your voyeuristic side and laugh a little. Whatever the result may be, I will always be "sunshine truth". I want you to be your sunshine truth too.

ReplyDeleteenjoyed your first blog. there is a realism to your writing that acknowledges the varied weather that is life too. i like the rays of sunshine that will seem to be the backdrop of blog. keep it coming. ebby
What the world needs now, more than ever, is more SUNSHINE! More TRUTH! We exist in a society too depraved of either. All around us we see desperation, despair, and suffering, yet we remain hopeful that a ray of light will shine through the thick cloud cover of life. I am thankful for your giving spirit and your willingness to share what you feel is real. Like a child at home on a rainy day, we will always be here, watching, waiting, and willing to accept your SUNSHINE TRUTH! Be well.
